Overheard in Dublin - 16

Working in the cinema and two teens, about 15, walk in. A guy and a girl, clearly on date.

They were walking to up me to buy a ticket and the guy takes his money out (€20).

The girl looks at it and in a sweet (genuine) voice says, 'Oh, that's so nice, you're buying my ticket' to which the boy replies embarrassed, 'Em... no, sorry, I have to give the change back to my dad.'

Et si je vous raconte celle-là aujourd'hui, c'est à cause de mon homme. Nous nous sommes pacsés mardi matin et nous sommes allés ensuite au resto en amoureux (c'est rare). Au moment de l'addition, il me dit "Ah, c'est bien, comme c'est un midi je pourrais peut être le faire passer sur mes frais !". Romantique !
